Editing

This morning we have been focused upon our editing, as we want to make it as effective as we can. In our last session we had grouped all our footage together, and today our main focus was timing and transitions. The footage flows very well, and we have managed to get our timings pretty accuratley. We experimented with various tranisitions so that our video flowed. We used the likes of closs blur, cross zoom and fading to white a black. This looks particularly effective on our last shot where it fades to black, to signify that something bad has occured. To confirm this we have added in a sound clip of sirens, which will make the viewer think that someone has been seriously injured. The last clip before the fade to black is in black and white too which particuarly makes it look bleak and foreshadows the event.
