Location/ Shots

A main element to consider when creating a music video is where it will be set. The main location will be school due to ease of filming there and the fact that the song includes school imagery. We also have also selected a woodland area, for the girl to write her diary in, and it will show the audience how secluded she is.

Here are some shots to potray the ideas we have, and the locations we will be using.

This is the coridoor we plan to use, with the girl walking down. It is really wide, so it will display the girl's isolation well.
As there is plenty of room, we can experiment with alot of different angles at different heights. It is also quite long, which is good as the girls walk down the corridoor lasts 3 different shots.

We also considered this as the main coridoor the girl walks down, we don't think it is wide enough or long enough to be used in the shots we wanted. However we think it has a nice look and feel to it, so we are looking for other scenes it can feature within.

This would be really good as the window the character looks through in shots 20-24. It is quite clear, so would show the action well, but it has the traditional window look.

This is the bathroom we plan to use, it will work well as it has two reasonably sized mirrors. It is also quite large so it will be easy to shoot in there.

This shot is the first ever shot that feature in the video.

We like the idea of tilted camera angles, as it is an effective way of not getting the view of the camera within the mirror.

This is the woodland area. We think the log will be a really good place for the girl to sit and right her diary on.
