We have decided to use Dear Diary, by the Vinyl Junkies for our chosen video. We came to this decision because we knew the band personally and we got permission instantly. We also had several ideas of what we could do with the video.
We have decided to make a narrative video due to the subject of the song. We are planning on creating a story of a girl being bullied, which eventually ends in her shooting several people at her school. The reference to 'dear diary' will appear when she is shown writing her diary throughout the video.
The song is quite long at 5 minutes, so we have decided we will fade it out to 3 minutes.
