Finding An Artist

I am working with Sophie Lemm, and we decided to share the task of finding an artist together, we have looked at 5 different artists.
We decided the best option would be to look in Myspace Music (www.myspace.com/music) within the unsigned section. The pros and cons of each artist will help us decide who will be our first choice to ask permission from.

The main pro to using the Vinyl Junkies, is that we know the band personally, so asking for permission should be quick and easy. We could also possibly use them in the video, and for photo oppurtunities. They live local so we could also meet up to discuss anything we feel neccessary. The band is also new and original so we feel we could create a fresh and effective video. They have also developed a strong, local fanbase. Another pro is that they are independant, and can make decisions themselves, which means we won't run into any permission issues.

A major con of the band is that they are really new, and not well known out of the area, however
